Young women have three times as many erotic dreams than their grandmothers did 50 Years ago.
According to a new study young women have three times as many erotic dreams than their grandmothers did 50 years ago.
Women between the ages of 16-30 spend almost as much time as men of the same age dreaming about sex.
Women of today are more likely to remember erotic dreams. According to psychologists this is they no longer feel shame about admitting them.
In the study, 2,907 men and women aged between 16 and 92 were asked about their dreams. An erotic dream was deemed as having a sexually motivated activity which could also include flirting and kissing.
Jo Hemming a behavioural psychologist who studied the survey results believes that woman are more likely to remember an erotic dream if they feel good about it. Women nowadays are on more of a level playing field in relationships than they used to be.
The study did not go into what type of dream women are having compared to men’s.
