One of the secrets to wedded bliss is owning more than one television.
Researchers are saying that owning more than one television and knowing each other’s passwords are some of the secrets to a happy marriage.
2,000 couples who had been married for ten years or more took part in a nationwide poll thirty eight percent of them said they were extremely happy together. Joint top of the list was being reliable and knowing when to apologise. Being diplomatic also came high with forty-two percent saying the key is learning to agree to disagree.
Other requirements to have a successful marriage were separate hobbies, pets, and Netflix accounts. Also just as important was sustaining physical affection. Forty-two percent thought that couples should always kiss goodbye, and kiss regularly.
Also on the list were really listening to your partner, never having secrets and the big one never go to sleep on an argument.
For about one-fifth of couples not hiding your phone passwords and having more than one television was the key to a happy marriage for them.
Do you think these things are all keys to a happy marriage?
