Three ‘unique and alternative’ pop-up markets for ‘Makers Meets Eats’

There are a series of exciting events as part of ‘Makers Meets Eats’ set in the coming months, for a ‘unique and alternative’ approach to pop-up markets.

The events, organised by Deadly Bakes, feature a ‘variety of traders from artists, jewellery, candles, and woodwork to delicious local street food and bakers!’ and always have a welcoming atmosphere, bringing together local traders, people, and ideas. Deadly Bakes, a local business, provides a wide variety of mouth-watering baked goods, described in one review as “A sensational array of delicious cakes, bakes, biscuits, and chocolates.” a review left by Luke said.

“Makes Meets Eats is an exciting pop-up market, organised by Deadly Bakes, full of local independent businesses! We support a variety of traders from artists, jewellery, candles, and woodwork to delicious local street food and bakers!

“We encourage creativity within our events and are keen to work with local businesses that stand apart from the rest, bringing a unique and alternative vibe to our pop-ups!

“You’ll find a chilled atmosphere with live background music! Whether you’re hanging out with friends, or family, or rocking it solo, everyone is welcome!! Even the dog! Shop, eat, drink and socialise! We can’t wait to see you there!” Owner of Deadly Bakes, Vikki Taylor said.

The next scheduled event will be Wednesday, August 10, and will be at The Beachcomber, Cleethorpes, 3 pm-8 pm. Following from this exciting event, a ‘Food Friday’ pop-up will be at New Waltham Pavilion, St Clements Way, 4 pm-8 PM, and then an alternative ‘Halloween Themed’ market for Sunday, October 2nd, at the Beachcomber.

The previous events have seen crowds flock to enjoy a taste, and a glimpse of local traders, who work hard to provide a relaxed atmosphere in the market, that welcomes all.
