Local woman’s amazing charity effort for Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue

A local woman has taken it upon herself to complete an extraordinary 20-mile bike ride, for a struggling local charity, Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue.

The ride, set to take place this Saturday, will finish at Teddy’s bar, Cleethorpes, following setting off from Cleethorpes also. Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue has recently released an update stating they are ‘well on the way’ to saving the rescue from permanent closure.

One enthusiastic local commented saying “What an amazing cause, good on you.”

Katie-Emma spoke further about her fantastic charity effort, in her post on social media she said:

“This Saturday I have chosen to do a 20-mile bike ride starting and ending in Cleethorpes Teddy’s Bar, Cleethorpes for a charity close to my heart.

“This charity is Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue, due to the rise in the cost of living this charity has taken the pinch, as many of us have, resulting in their closure.

“I cannot express to you how much these guys go above and beyond working multiple jobs and working way too many hours just to provide care for injured animals to rehabilitate and release when possible.

“These people are using their own time and money to ensure every different animal has a chance at a good life.

“Now this is the bit where I’m asking you an incredible lot to take part in saving this amazing team and the animals they care for,

“I’m asking for donations literally anything will help and if I can just get even a fraction of my friends to help then we can say that you too have been a massive part in keeping this rescue open.

“They even have an option on their website to donate as little as £2 per month. Thank you to everyone that has made it this far in the post I appreciate you all.”
