By New exciting bar ‘Platform’ at former nightclub site
A new cocktail bar has opened in Cleethorpes with a wide range of drinks and refreshments, situated a short walk away from the beach.
The new bar is located at the site of the former ‘Barcelona’ nightclub which was previously a popular location.
On social media, the bar has advertised the range of drinks available and a look at the inside of the premises, which has seen a complete revamp.
The page stated “Amazing cocktails, speakeasy seating, and a DJ on the dance floor.”
The location has outdoor seating and also serves as a function room that can be hired.
A review by a customer on their social media page said: “Platform is the one place in Cleethorpes I feel safe drinking with no worries of people touching or doing anything to my drink, they are friendly and the atmosphere is amazing, they continuously do their best to make all of the customers happy would definitely recommend going.”
“What a lovely little bar, it’s tucked away but the staff look after you and are very friendly. They made sure I and my friends were looked after, Declan and Liam were so helpful and welcoming!!! Great place.” another added.
The bar boasts a classic range of cocktails and drinks to suit all, with a modern inside look.
“Amazing place so nice and relaxed cocktail menu is quality and the bar staff have an extensive knowledge so they make your own special flavours.”
The page posted the latest look at the interior yesterday, reportedly operating since around 2019, and extensive work has been carried out.
“Lovely place- very chilled, great cocktails and amazing staff. Had a lovely night, thank you for being so attentive!.”
Platform is located on Station Approach, the walkway from the train station, next to the site of the previous Clifton Bingo Hall.
