Six youths arrested following violent attack on a property
Six youths aged 12-16 have been arrested following an attack on a property in Cleethorpes.
Humberside Police investigated the attack on a home, that captured the gang on CCTV. Members of the gang were seen hurling abuse at a resident before violently kicking the door.
A group of youths kicked the doorway in, causing around £3,000 damage and a man is alleged to have been verbally abused before the group of around a dozen youths kicked at the door.
There were threats made and taunting of the residents, which reportedly went on for around five minutes.
Humberside Police has issued a statement confirming the arrests and said there will be increased patrols.
A police spokesman said: “Officers investigating an incident on Bentley Street, Cleethorpes, have arrested six people.
“It was reported that a group of teenagers were thought to be causing criminal damage to a property on April 18. Six boys between the age of 12 and 16 have been arrested and since released on police bail whilst our investigations continue.”

“There will be an increased police presence in the area as we conduct additional antisocial behaviour patrols to provide both reassurance and deter further incidents. We are also working with our youth outreach partners in the local authority, who are conducting evening patrols.
