Cleethorpes Scooter Rally to go ahead this year!
The Cleethorpes Scooter Rally will be returning to the Meridian Showground this summer after last year’s event was cancelled due to a rise in Covid infections.
The fantastic gathering of riders from up and down the country took a two-year break before Covid, meaning this year is set to be the biggest and best event yet!
Organisers Mansfield Monsters and Olympic scooter clubs gave the event the green light earlier this year, with many locals meeting the news with pure excitement.
From July 1 till July 3, you can expect a weekend full of fun, laughter, and great memories.
Cleethorpes Pearl Holiday Park, formerly known as the Beachcomber, will be hosting the event after undergoing a major upgrade to its caravans and facilities, as well as an ongoing refurbishment for its outdoor pool.
The venue will run with two rooms of music as always but the soul room has changed to a great wooden-floored upstairs space with a balcony looking over the main room and a new outside balcony looking over the pool area. There’s also a chill-out space in an annex to the side.
Tickets will be available at the door for £5 for those without wristbands.
Cleethorpes is well-known for its fantastic scooter-only campsite and Meridian Park is the place to be, costing just £20 for a weekend wristband which also gets you into the Beachcomber at night.
The campsite itself is self-contained, secure, and has toilet and shower blocks, there’s also catering on-site, first aid, 24-hour security, and, of course, a bar.
The custom shower and dealers market will take place on Saturday, with day visitors allowed from 10-4 pm and tickets costing just £3.
