Love Actually star Thomas Brodie-Sangster visits Papa’s Fish and Chips

Best known for his work in Love Actually, Game of Thrones and The Maze Runner trilogy, British actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster recently paid a visit to Paps’s Fish and Chips in Cleethorpes.

After the beloved fish and chip shop was named ‘Britain’s Best Fish and Chips’ in 2017 by the BBC’s Best of British Takeaways competition, the world-famous actor decided to try out their food for himself.

The owners of the Cleethorpes based business shared the image to Facebook, captioning it: “Look who visited us at the Pier a few days ago”.

Residents were left star-struck in the comments, with many disappointed they didn’t get to see the star up close as he enjoyed a seaside treat.

The 31-year-old actor, also known for his work in Nanny McPhee, kindly signed some menus on his visit to the popular restuarant.

The decision to try the award-winning food came after he was apparently caravan shopping in the local area.

Located on Cleethorpes Pier, Papa’s Fish and Chips won Best British Takeaway back in 2017, with The Hook in Camden and Field to Frier in Exmouth coming in second and third.

The reaturant boasts a beautiful indoor dining area with outside seating available so customers can enjoy a sea view as they tuck into their food.
