Is your child on the list of the naughtiest children’s names?
Teachers, parents and other kids have put together a list of the naughtiest children’s names. Along with those that are likely to be the best behaved. The study was commissioned by Nametags.
All of them agreed that boys named Jack are the most likely to misbehave. Teachers admitted that they expect Jacks to be mean to their classmates. For girls, the name Mia is one that teachers and parents .associate with mischief. But the children expect Emily’s to be the naughtiest.

For the best-behaved children Isla comes top and for boys, Arthur comes top. Those with the name Noah are associated with being quiet and shy. Grace’s are considered to be the shyest in the class among girls. Charlie and Olivia are considered to be the most extrovert.
The survey found that children called George are considered by their peers and adults to be the most intelligent in the class, and also associated with kindness.

Isabella is on top of the list for teachers expecting them to be smart. But children assume Isabella’s will be spoilt. Boys expect Harry to be the most spoilt in the playground.
My nametags managing director remarked We know there are strong stereotypes attached to names and someone’s first name can paint a picture of what they are really like.
They found it interesting that stereotypes are formed from a young age with children and adults. Who are quick to make judgments about children when based on their first name only.
