A student with debts turned to dealing drugs.
A hard-up university student turned to dealing large amounts of drugs to pay off his debts.
He was stopped when he was on the way back from Liverpool and large stashes of drugs were later found. He had £400 cash, a knife under the driver’s seat and the dealer or stock lists. Police found high purity Cocaine, Ecstacy, ketamine and amphetamine when they searched his home.
Dominic Burton 22 of Grimsby Road admitted to four offences of supplying drugs and four of possessing drugs with intent to supply on December 10th.
It is believed he tried to extract himself but was physically assaulted and threatened. He was given a home a loan and a car and began to realise how that was to be repaid. Intimidation and pressures were used against him. The motivation was financial gain.
Dominic Burton was jailed for five years.
