League leaders GY Cars are at it again in the GY Cars sponsored Grimsby Intermediate Snooker League, this time away at Clee Home Guard, Paul Clark with a 32 break in the first frame and a 90 in the second, partnering Danny Reynolds (23), opened the scoring with a 2-0 win Sam Ward (71) and Chris Fuller followed suit putting the four frames ahead, Craig Taylor (22, 30) and Paul Davey stopped the rot, taking the fifth but with Mick Ponsonby and Alan Robertson getting the last frame the visitors went away with a 5-1 win, widening their lead at the top.

Struggling at the foot of the table Snug Fit Grimsby played host to second placed Ray Edmonds D, Dan Howard and Bill Miller set the ball rolling for the home side sharing 1-1 with Darren Potter and Blake Munton, Michael Dent (21, 20, 22) and Rob Hunter (22) took the next two putting the visitors ahead for the first time, but with Rob Wraith (20) and James Phillipson taking the last two for the home side the match ended as a 3-3 draw.

A 2-0 win by Mark Franks (73, 20) and Steve Fisher got the match underway for Locate Supplies Cons, when they entertained The Gas Man, Keith Atmore and Brad Burrell (20) pulled one back for the visitors sharing 1-1 with Mark Graves (with a 50 clearance second frame) and Andy Aisthorpe, Ian Crosby (23, 20) and Wayne Webber, got the next for the home side drawing 1-1 with Anthony Jagger and Dan Mumby (25), Locate getting a 4-2 home win.

With each pair winning and losing a frame at Clee Cons A when they hosted Peter Hogarth & Sons, the match ended as a 3-3 draw, Dean Richardson, and Ryan Knox, sharing 1-1 with Paul Simpson (48) and John Lough (20), Scott Gibbins (41, 23) and Tom Keeley sharing with Pete Kuzemczak and Mike Emerson (23), then James Reynolds and Jimmy Yates with Ian Hogarth and Brian Hotson.

Euan Hunter and Stuart Wilkinson opened the scoring for West End D in the B League at Westlands D sharing the first board 1-1 with John Ford and John Turner, George Clark (like father like son) and Jeff Webster took the next two for the home side and with Nige Mumby and Paul Davies sharing 1-1 with Darren Roche (23) and Dave McMullan, the home side got a 4-2 win.

Damon Gresham and Michael Vincent set the ball rolling for Clee Cons C at Hainton Renegades, sharing 1-1 with Danny Chisnall and Stuart Tuplin, Paul Lidgard and Mick Sargent took next two for the visitors, putting them in front but with Steve Miles and Brian Davies getting the last two for the home side the match finished as a 3-3 draw.

A 2-0 win by Kris Hall and Brad Moforth got the match underway for Cromwell A at home to Westlands Heating, Keith Board and Chris Yull pulled the visitors level winning 2-0 and with the last pair sharing 1-1 Josh Garthwaite and Warren Fenwick against Daz North and Richard Stanard, the match finishing as a 3-3 draw.
