Police teams and NPAS carried out searches of the Humber Estuary after reports of a body in the water.
The 75,492 acre spread of water was extensively searched by coastguards and rescue teams following a report of a body in the water.
NPAS was called to the Humber Estuary at around 1.45pm on Tuesday.
The body was seen near Hull ferry terminal and reported to the police by a third party.
Heavy police presence.
There was a heavy police presence with a riot van and a search and rescue pick-up in attendance with police divers in the water.
After hours of searching, Humberside Police confirmed they had found nothing in the water.
