Man arrested after throwing a bottle at Police attending address
A man was caught throwing a bottle at police officers responding to a call to a property, the man was also caught in the act on video.
A 39-year-old man was seen at the property resisting officers’ requests to come down, later throwing the bottle at them.
On Tuesday evening, May 31, during an apparent stand-off with Humberside Police, on the junction of Cromer and Coventry Avenue, a man situated upstairs threw a bottle at officers, as they were waiting outside below.
There were two police vans and a police car parked outside the home, it was said the man was refusing to come down from the property.
The man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft and attempted criminal damage, he remains in custody currently.
Humberside Police released a statement regarding the incident:
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft and attempted criminal damage, he remains in our custody at this time whilst enquiries continue.
