RNLI design partnership lays down the chips!
RNLI Cleethorpes has announced a partnership with a company for a new limited-edition crisp packet, with an RNLI design.
The company, Burts Potato Chips have teamed up with RNLI to produce a special design for the packet of Prawn Cocktail flavoured crisps.
In purchasing a packet, an amount will be donated to the RNLI, 5p from every packet.
On social media, RNLI announced their partnership showcasing the design and their volunteers.
In their post they wrote:
“We’ve teamed up with Burts Snacks to co-design the pack, which features a stunning image of an iconic orange lifeboat. The special edition RNLI packs aim to drive awareness of the lifesaving work we do, and with each pack bearing our lifesaving Float to Live message, deliver a vital lifesaving skill.
“5p from every eye-catching packet will be donated to the RNLI, raising an additional £10,000. By purchasing an RNLI prawn cocktail pack, you can help us save lives at sea.”
Burts Potato Chips are based in Devon and started over 17 years ago, boasting a variety of handmade delicious crisp flavours.
On social media, a user commented “Perfect partnership! As I’m always on the water I appreciate them for all the hard work they do! Hopefully, I won’t ever need to make that call! Happy to be able to donate regularly.”
Burts Potato Chips also posted to social media stating: “Say hello to BURTS new limited edition Prawn Cocktail chips. In partnership with the RNLI, we’re giving them a 5p donation* for every bag bought. So, while you help save lives at sea you can also save your tastebuds from boredom.”
