PM to hold press conference as Sue Gray report to be published

The PM is expected to apologise to the nation yet again today at the No10 press conference this afternoon.

The PM will have a full day of questions regarding the report on the Downing Street lockdown breaking, an apology is also expected at PMQs.

There will be a press conference later today will a public address by the PM.

Mr. Johnson will also have an audience with the Queen, which could see more questions fired at the PM.

The PM will also take part in a closed-door meeting of Conservative MPs later on today, where he will address partygate further.

Cabinet Enforcer Sue Gray is set to hand in her findings today, with rumoured images of rule-breaking and details the public will be interested to see.

Whitehall sources have said some ‘relevant’ photographs will be submitted as part of her inquiry.

Two days ago the PM faced more criticism as images circulated of Mr. Johnson raising a toast while surrounded by bottles.

The photos allegedly show the PM lifting a glass, surrounded by his staff at a leaving party for comms chief Lee Cain on November 13, 2020.

At the times of the images and reports, meetings between people from separate households were not allowed.

The Police have fined Mr. Johnson already for a single event in the Cabinet Room, no other fines have been handed out.

Mr. Johnson is expected to grovel for forgiveness in the Commons today, as the full apparent story of partygate will surface.
