Lloyds Bank ATM out of action after cheese slices forced into card reader

A Lloyds Bank ATM is out of action following vandalism that saw cheese slices forced into the card reader and across the keypad.

Brigg residents woke up to a large Facebook thread stating a cash machine had been vandalised in unusual fashion.

In a picture, that has since garnered mixed feelings, cheese slices can be seen laid across the machines keypad and forced into the card reader.

Understandably, some residents expressed their frustration with the announcement with one saying:

“Omg what the hell! Do people have no lives?”

“Pathetic, they need to grow up”, added another.

“The same little darlings were throwing cheese slices at cars as they were going over the bridge near Lidl while stuck in the traffic at the temp lights”, responded another.

Meanwhile, some Brigg locals made light of the situation, flooding the comments with cheese puns.

“I don’t Brie-lieve what some people get up to, they are crackers”

“I’ve just been down the high street and there’s de-brie everywhere!!”

“Folks are going to be cheesed off about this”
