Excitement for Queen’s Jubilee aircraft rehearsal over North Lincolnshire
The Jubilee Flypast is set to take place on Thursday, June 2nd.
Rehearsals for the big event are set to take place in two weeks over the River Humber and North Lincolnshire.
On Tuesday, May 24, rehearsals will start in The Wash and The North Sea vicinity and will fly over the RAF Cranwell base in Lincolnshire.
The dispersal will then be held over parts of North Lincolnshire.
Reports suggest, that if the weather is not suitable for the rehearsals on May 24, they will instead be held on Thursday, May 26, or Friday, May 27.
The rehearsals are to take place between 12.30 pm and 1.20 pm, a source says they will not be carried out below 8,000ft.
The Platinum Jubilee will see a list of events between Thursday, June 2, and Sunday, June 5 in a four-day Bank Holiday weekend.
