Multiple arrests after two cars stolen in early hours

A recent burglary in the area has seen five people arrested in connection with the incident.

Five people are in custody after being arrested on suspicion of burglary, following the incident that involved the theft of to vehicles, according to reports.

‘Officers were called to reports of a burglary on Brooklands Avenue, Cleethorpes, at around 1.20am on Sunday 11 December’. Humberside Police said.

In their report, they stated that five people had gained entry to a property and removed car keys. It is reported that they then stole two cars.

Following police enquiries, two men aged 20 and 18, and three boys aged 17, 16 and 12, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, with all five remaining in custody.

Humberside Police said:

‘If you have any information regarding this incident, you can contact us on 101, quoting log 42 of 11 December.

‘Alternatively, you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 to pass on information about this incident, or any other burglaries in the area, and you will not be asked to reveal your name or any other personal details.’
