Teens arrested after Rowland Road incident
Two teenagers from Scunthorpe are currently in police custody following an incident last night.
According to reports police were called to attend the children’s centre on Rowland Road at 10:40pm yesterday evening, Thursday 1 December, following an alarm activation.
It is thought that two individuals had climbed a wall and are reported to have gained entry to the building and commited a burglary after a window was smashed.
Two teenagers are believed to have attempted to the flee the area. A chase took place and both boys were detained a short while after.
One 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of burglary, burglary with intent to steal and going equipped.
An 16-year-old boy was also arrested for the same offences as well as possession of Class B drugs.
