By Residents left shaken after intrusion at Scartho Top
People in Scartho Top were subject to a shocking awakening after intruders stalked the area during the night.
Residents say a number of properties and vehicles in Scartho were targeted in a spate of attempted break-ins in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 12 November. Several residents were woken by the disturbance, with others discovering the intruders after reviewing their personal CCTV footage this morning.
According to eyewitnesses the two male suspects were young white males. One was on foot and another on a bicycle, with both wearing tracksuits.
The incidents, which are reported to have taken place between 03:30 and 03:50 AM, have left residents shaken and concerned.
Speaking to Gi Grimsby News one startled resident said: “At 3:45 this morning our dog barked after they had tried our door, our neighbours and garages on the street. They then came back and went in our neighbours car and then went to our car. That was when my partner shouted at them. They shouted abuse back and then left.”
“It was horrible,” she added.
At least 5 different households have reported being targeted so far.
