Rebel Wilson welcomes daughter through ‘gorgeous surrogate’
Rebel Wilson has announced the birth of her first child in a loving Instagram post.
The Australian actress, 42, welcomed her daughter to the world on Monday.
Wilson shared her experience as her daughter was via surrogate.
She wrote: “Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate.
“I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!”
She continued: “I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making… but particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care. Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!!

“I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly… much respect to all the mums out there! Proud to be in your club.”
The Pitch Perfect star has previously spoken publicly about wanting children, adding that she froze her eggs in 2019.
She described the move as a “backup plan”, telling a radio show: “Career women now have options. I think a lot of women who are in their 30s and if they can do it, in their 40s should think about doing it now. A lot of my friends in Hollywood are doing it.”
Ms Wilson revealed in June that she was in a relationship with a woman, Ramona Agruma, a clothing brand owner.
