By Taylor Swift transforms in burlesque video
Taylor Swift has transformed from Cinderella to a burlesque dancer in her star-powered music video for her latest release ‘Bejeweled’.
The music video is for her song Bejeweled, from her new album Midnights, which was written and directed by Taylor herself.
In the video, Swift performed a fun burlesque routine with Dita Von Teese, 50, featuring the duo splashing around in huge martini glasses while wearing sparkling corsets.
The video has a whole host of famous faces, including actress Laura Dern, the Haim sisters, make-up artist Pat McGrath, and record producer Jack Antonoff.
Taylor plays House Wench Taylor in a tattered dirty white dress as she cleans vomit off of the floor in an attic.
‘Well, I bought diamond nipple tassels so…’ another one adds.
They are then joined by Taylor’s evil stepmom, played by Laura Dern, 55.
‘Well, I’ll be poisoning all the other maidens in the village!’ she reveals.
‘Yes mom!’ they cheer her on.
For the prince’s heart, the maidens must enter a ‘talent competition’ and whoever wins get the keys to a castle and a marriage proposal.
Swift’s new album, Midnights, dropped Friday with over one million units sold in the U.S. in its first three days of release, becoming the top-selling album of 2022.
If Midnights debuts at number one, it will mark Swift’s 11th chart-topping album.
