Teenage culprits caught after Grimsby burglary

Three teenagers have woken up in police custody this morning after officers responded to reports of a burglary last night.

Police were called to Barmouth Drive, off Wingate Road, Grimsby, at around 10:20pm last night, Monday 24 October, after they were told that several unfamiliar people had entered a property.

Officers arrived on scene to discover that a number of tools and materials had been taken, and that the culprits had fled the scene.

The three 17-year-old boys who are thought to be responsible were tracked down in a car a short while after.

They were arrested on suspicion of burglary and remain in police custody.
