Anti-Semitic banners fly in L.A. as Kanye controversy continues

The seeds of hate appear to have been sown in L.A. as a result of Kanye West’s anti-Semitic remarks

Banners were draped on an overpass of the 405 freeway, with organisers for the Goyim Defence League prompting drivers to “Honk if you know Kanye is right about the Jews.” The Anti-Defamation League describes the group as anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists.

Members were also throwing up the Nazi salute at passing drivers.

This follows a controversial interview with Piers Morgan where Kanye West said he was “absolutely not” sorry for his comments which began when he went on social media saying that he was going “death con 3 on Jewish people.”

On Friday night he also told photographers that the backlash from his comments had “proven the exact point that I made.”
