By Kanye West’s social media accounts locked
Rapper Kayne West has been locked out of his social media accounts, including Twitter and Instagram, after he posted several anti-Semitic messages.
His Instagram account was initially suspended following accusations that the rapper Diddy was being controlled by Jewish people.
He then rejoined Twitter, seemingly in retaliation, saying West he would go “death con 3 On Jewish people.”
West’s Twitter account was subsequently locked too.
Both platforms removed the offensive posts stating that West had violated policies on hate speech.
This follows an incident where West drew widespread criticism after wearing a ‘white lives matter’ t-shirt to Paris fashion week and during his YZY fashion show.
The Anti-Defamation League has called the phrase “hate speech” and attributed it to white supremacists, who began using it in 2015 in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.
