Crash on residential street in Cleethorpes

A significant amount of damage was caused after a silver BMW crashed into a number of parked cars on a residential street in Cleethorpes.

The car is understood to have driven into three other parked cars on Poplar Road in Cleethorpes at around 8pm on Saturday, April 30.

Reports say no one was injured as a result of the collision but damage was caused to both the BMW and to the parked cars.

Residents were seen outside after the collision to see what had happened as police attended and blocked the road to deal with incident.

Humberside Police are now asking for anyone with information about the accident to come forward to help them with their investigations.

They said: “Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Poplar Road, Cleethorpes, at around 7.50pm on Saturday, April 30.

“It was reported that a silver BMW had collided with three parked cars. No one is believed to have been injured in the incident.

“ If anyone has information about this incident that may assist with our enquiries, you can contact us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 569 of 30 April.”
