By Beloved holiday park to get a revamp for the new season
A much loved Cleethorpes holiday park is set to undergo renovations just in time for the new season.
Cleethorpes Pearl Holiday Park, formerly known as the Beachcomber, is giving its pool a revamp ready for the East holidays.
The new pool will be made up of two areas, one for normal swimmers and another for children to splash and play.
Set to seat nearly 200 people, the pool building will also be getting a makeover including cedar stained walls, an artifical green wall and a multi-coloured cladding arrangement.
Works have already begun with the pool being drained and scaffolding erected so they can hopefully reopen in time for the season.
Sharing the exciting refurbishment to Facebook the resort said: “New for 2022 Our pool is being refurbished!
“Who’s as excited as we are?”
The resort has also shared images of the pools progress, saying: “Check out the pool progress! The newly refurbished lido is going to be quite the gem of our park and we can’t wait to open the gates for a splash once it’s completed.”
Locals and tourists alike shared their excitement for the new pool, with one writing: “Looking forward to our first season on the site.”
Another simply stated “I can’t wait!”
