Arrests made as CSI swarm Cleethorpes house
Humberside Police have confirmed that two people were arrested yesterday morning, Sunday 23rd of January, following an incident at a property in Cleethorpes.
Officers say they were called to a house on Sandringham Road following reports of a man causing damage to property.
A Crime Scene Investigation team remained on the scene for much of the afternoon.
Two men were arrested at the scene.
One was arrested on suspicion of affray, and the other for GBH.
Both remain in police custody.
In a statement issued by Humberside Police, a spokesperson said:
“Officers were called to reports of an incident of Sandringham Road, Cleethorpes, at around 9:45am on Sunday, January 23.
“It was reported that a man was damaging property after been assaulted by another known male.
“One male has been arrested for affray and the other for GBH. Both remain in our custody at this time.
“This was an isolated incident between two known males and there is no wider threat to members of the public.”
