New partnership to divert children from crime set to launch this month

The Business Hive, Humberside Police and North East Lincolnshire Council have joined forces to launch a new scheme, named The Hive Inspire Project, helping to divert young people away from crime whilst gaining opportunities in the business world.

This initiative will provide businesses and young people a unique opportunity to connect, based on interests, aspirations and skills. It also hopes to benefit the wider community through the reduction of anti-social behaviour and crime, plus boost the local economy.

At a breakfast launch event on Wednesday 22nd September at Healing Manor Hotel, Grimsby, business leaders from the area will have the opportunity to hear about the initiative and why it is so important for the area from Business Hive Manager Jo Taylor, Humberside Police Detective Chief Inspector Phil Booker and North East Lincolnshire Council Locality Specialist Rachel Cross.

Whilst it is piloting in North East Lincolnshire at this time, there are hopes to expand the project into North Lincolnshire, Hull and the East Riding if successful.

Registration is required to attend the event. For information on how you can do this, visit here: https://businesshive.net/events/the-hive-inspire-project-launch/
