BBC Crimewatch appeal in connection with Hull murder
Today, Thursday 9 September, BBC’s Crimewatch Live will feature a national appeal to help locate Moise Djuku who is wanted in connection with the murder of Corey Dobbe.
Corey was just 23-years-old when he was murdered on 13 June 2021 on Harleston Close in Hull.
The Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) Detective Chief Inspector Alan Curtis said “Throughout the course of the investigation detectives have been working tirelessly around the clock following up on lines of enquiry provided to us.
“There has been a huge police operation to investigate this murder and our main focus remains to locate Moise Djuku who we suspect has vital information.
“I welcome any information that would help us locate him and help his grieving family get justice for Corey’s senseless killing.
“I would ask again for anyone who knows where Moise Djuku is to come forward and give us that vital information.
The programme will air at 10 am today and detectives hope that the appeal may bring forward new information
Crimestoppers continue to offer a £5,000 reward for information given to them that locates Moise Djuku.
“Crimestoppers is completely independent of the police. Anyone giving information is anonymous and remains anonymous and we don’t find out who they are. I would urge anyone who has information to contact them and tell Crimestoppers what they know.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Humberside Police on the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or go online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
