Police name stab victim as third person is arrested
Today, Police have named a man who was fatally stabbed in Leigh Park, following the arrest of a third person on suspicion of murder.
Police were called at 11pm on Saturday night to a disturbance on Tichborne Grove, Leigh Park.
At the scene, officers found a man and woman who had both been stabbed.
Ambulance crews attended but unfortunately the 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 27-year-old woman from Southsea was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
Her injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.
Two men, a 31-year-old man from Hayling Island and a 25-year-old man from Camborne in Cornwall were arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody.
Police have now announced that they have arrested a third person in relation to the death of the stab victim.
The victim has now been named as George Allison, aged 21, of Riders Lane, Havant, who died after he suffered fatal stab wounds at an incident in Tichborne Grove.
His family has released this image of George to pay tribute.

Today a Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson confirmed that a third person, a 33-year-old woman from Havant, has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.
She remains in custody at this time.
Both people who were arrested earlier remain in police custody at this time.
