Search for culprit after Watford shopfronts are vandalised
Two shopfronts in Watford have been vandalised, prompting Police to release CCTV footage in a search for the culprit.
At around 2.20am on Sunday February 23, the shutters of two shops in St Albans Road in Watford were grafittied. A graffiti tag of ‘SNAP’ was left behind.
PC Jessica Tanseli, who is investigating the case said:
“Understandably, the victims are upset as they have been left out of pocket due to having to pay for replacement shutters. Graffiti is a criminal offence, and we are carrying out enquiries to identify the offender(s)
“There was a graffiti tag of ‘SNAP’ that had been left behind. Perhaps you know of someone who goes by this alias, or have seen the same tag elsewhere? If you do, please get in contact with me.
If you were in the area at the time, and witnessed the incident or perhaps saw someone behaving suspiciously, please let us know.
We also have reason to believe the man pictured was in the area at the time, and we’d like to speak to him as we think he may be able to help with our enquiries.”
It is not yet known if anybody else was involved.
