Violent thug attacked man out with his young family.

A father was visiting Cleethorpes on a day trip with his young family when he was assaulted. It is believed the group of two families including five children was walking back to the bus stop when they came across a group of drunken thugs. They were behaving aggressively and shouting. One of them is believed to have brushed against the father and he was pushed to the ground which fractured his wrist and dislocated the finger on one of his hands. Lee Ramsey also grabbed a crutch one of the women was carrying and proceeded to throw it onto a roof. The family has been devastated by the attack and the father can no longer carry out simple tasks.

Lee Ramsey had received previous convictions for using racially aggravated threatening words or behaviour to members of a Cleethorpes Mosque in 2013. He had also been in jail for 18 weeks in March 2017 for racially aggravated harassment. But he was causing trouble again by the end of September.

It is thought that Lee Ramsey has now turned his life around and would like to meet his victim and apologise for his stupid drunken manner. He was jailed for 10 months at Grimsby Crown Court.
