One man is arrested as police appeal for witnesses to Top Town fight.

Two men were injured on Saturday night at around 6.45 pm in a fight imvolving three men and is believed to have involved a knife. it happened in the old market place near the Halifax bank. It is thought that a man got into a fight with two homeless men and that he was stabbed in the back. It is also believed that one man lost a finger during the fight. One man is believed to have been arrested on suspicion of affray, and two men were taken to hospital.

Concerns have been raised by landlords and drinkers who believe that this is the third serious incident to happen in this area. They called for something to be done. Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
