By Shortly, the Queen will officially announce the UK government’s legislative agenda for 2020, along with an official Queen’s Speech covering new bills and direction for the year ahead.
It is expected that around 22 new bills will passed covering topics such as:
HARSHER penalties for any foreign national offender who attempts to return to the UK after being DEPORTED.
LONGER sentences for serious and violent crimes
NHS INVESTIGATIONS body to act on behalf of patients – with enforcement powers
MENTAL HEALTH ACT updates – possibly with the aim to reduce people detained under the current Act
RAIL REFORM and terminating the current franchise system
