Body recovered near The Deep

A report was received at around 1.25pm this afternoon (Saturday, 31 August) that a body was believed to be on the mud banks near to The Deep.

Emergency Services and the Coastguard attended and a body was found and recovered.

A number of enquiries are underway to establish identification and to ascertain the exact circumstances.
