Highways England trialling emotional intelligent signage.
In a bid to reduce dangerous driving and accidents on roads which are troublesome, Highways England is trialling emotional intelligent signage around roadworks and construction sites.
The signs say such things as “Our dad works here,” and “ Someone loves you drive with care” it is hoped the signs will encourage passing drivers to drive in a more considerate manner.
It is thought that people ignore road signs because they are confronted with them all the time. But it is hoped that these signs will capture people’s attention and will be more likely to have an influence.
