Burglar who raided MP Melanie Onn’s home and stole her car could face prison.
David Dable 24, of Haycroft Street, could face a lengthy prison sentence. After breaking into the home of MP Melanie Onn and stealing a car and then being involved in a dangerous police chase. He broke into her home in the early hours of June 16th and stole the keys to a Nissan Qashqai and was spotted by police being driven dangerously around Grimsby and colliding with several cars. It was eventually stopped on the A180 in busy traffic after a stinger device was thrown across the road.
David Dable appeared at Grimsby Crown Court and admitted burglary, stealing a Nissan Qashqai, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police. And driving while disqualified and having no insurance. He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at a later date.
Melanie Onn Praised Humberside Police and said they have been exemplary and thanked them for there support.
