By The Armed Forces Day celebrations just got a little better.
At this year’s celebrations, for just £5, you could win a fantastic ultimate tank driving experience.
How would you like to drive amazing vehicles across challenging courses? And then go Clay Pigeon Shooting using a double barrel shot gun? Take part in survival training with a Special Forces instructor, fire 17th century weapons and have a tour of a high firearms collection. If you can score higher than others on the course on the day, the ultimate prize is to get to drive a Chieftain Main Battle Tank and crush a car!

You can buy your raffle tickets over the Armed Forces weekend (28-30 June) from either the Information Point in the Strikewing Memorial Gardens next to Remembrance Gate or before the weekend from the Tourist Information Centre in Cleethorpes. The winner will be announced on the Remembrance Gate stage at approximately 4.10pm on Sunday afternoon.
The prize winner will secure one place on the course (which will be with Tanks Alot at Helmdon in Northamptonshire) and a place for a guest who will be able to view the activities from an armoured vehicle. The prize also includes two nights’ hotel accommodation for two people (either double or twin room) with an evening meal on the Saturday evening.
