What a washout as heavy rain and floods forecast for this week.
There are four weather warnings in place for this week. With forecasters predicting that heavy prolonged rain could cause flooding in some areas.
Yellow warnings have been issued for Monday and Tuesday in the South East. Before moving north for Wednesday and Thursday.
Today in our area it will be a rather wet day with persistent rain spreading from the south. It will turn heavy at times. There may be a few drier spells during the afternoon but it will remain cloudy.
Tuesday will be another very unsettled day. With a persistent band of rain which will be stuck across our area. Which will lead to a rather prolonged spell of rain.
A largely dry start on Wednesday but showers will move in later in the day, some of them heavy.
Another wet day on Thursday with frequent heavy showers and some thundery as low pressure moves in, but there is some uncertainty on the details.
On Friday it will be drier for a while, but then further rain will move in from the West.
