Today is National Fish and Chip Day.
Grimsby and Cleethorpes are famous for their fish and chips. and we have some fabulous fish and chip shops and restaurants in our area. What better excuse for trying them out as on National Fish and chip day.
When we asked some of our Grimsby Independent followers which was their favourite many names came up Marklews in Middlethorpe Road, was thought of very highly, Hanleys in Hardy’s Road also The Fryer in Grimsby Road Humberston, all come highly recommended. Steels restaurant gets top marks, also Papas Fish and chips and the Ocean Bar St Peters Avenue.
