If your a mum and you break the law should you avoid prison?
Is it right that this mum avoided a prison sentence?
A women hit and seriously injured a 10-year-old girl with her car and failed to stop. She was also a disqualified driver. The defence team said that a jail sentence would have a serious impact on her own two children. Should her children not have to learn that what their mother did was very wrong?
Do you think mums who break the law should be able to avoid prison? Or should it be the same rule for everyone regardless of whether they have children or not?
