Did you know donkeys hate the cold?
A study found that donkeys hate the weather at the British seaside and they would rather take shelter than have to be walking up and down.
Donkeys are three times more likely than horses to stay indoors when it rains. If it is cold outside 14C or below, donkeys will want to remain indoors. But horses prefer to be outside in all weathers.
There are many donkeys that are forced to carry children on short walks on British beaches. But the donkey may be very miserable.
According to a study donkeys hate the rain and cold temperatures which often plague our seaside towns.
This makes sense because domestic donkeys originated from the African wild ass in semi-arid regions of North East Africa.
