North East Lincs Council rolled out a recycling pilot that is due to end next week.
Residents taking part in the pilot were given a black bin for tins and plastic, and a large orange sack to recycle paper and card.
During the trial, recycling was collected weekly.
Many residents who took place in the trial have said they really like the black bins and a number of residents would like to keep them.
But the Council have said that they can’t mix wheelie bins and recycling boxes on their usual rounds.
And from next week residents have to go back to their old recycling boxes. Although they can still use the orange bag.
Did you take part in the Weekly recycling pilot?
Did you prefer it to the old recycling boxes?
A number of residents we spoke to say the black bins work far better than the recycling boxes. They have proved they work so why does the Council not let us keep them instead of going to the expense of collecting them all in.
