Wilton Road carriageway improvements starting next week

Carriageway improvements are due to start on a section of Wilton Road

The works will take place between the junction of Wilton Road and Jackson Place up to the junction with the Millman Coaches entrance from Monday 8 April for five days.

For the works to be carried out safely and to reduce the disruption to road users and businesses in the area, the works will be completed in phases:

Drain gully replacement works will take place on Monday 8 April and Tuesday 9 April between 6am and 6pm and be completed under local traffic management

Carriageway resurfacing works will start on Tuesday 9 April between 6pm and 5am and will take four nights to complete under a full road closure.

Parking will be suspended throughout the works to allow them to be completed safely.

Advanced warning signs will be in place during the works.

North East Lincolnshire Council and its partner ENGIE would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by these improvement works.
