By Appeal for witnesses to suspected robbery
Humberside Police are investigating the suspected robbery and assault of a 43 year-old Grimsby man as he walked home after a night at a friend’s house.
The victim was walking along Grimsby Road Cleethorpes, Albion Street towards the A180 Pywipe roundabout between midnight and 1.30am on Thursday 14 March. He remembers being approached by three to four men who assaulted him and stole his Samsung mobile phone some cash and house keys. The victim was found by police officers on the A180 and taken for treatment for an injury to his hand.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the man or witnessed him in an altercation with anyone to call on the non-emergency number 101 quoting ref 16/35920/19.
