An 89-year-old man has claimed he is banned from visiting his wife.
Dennis Daniels, 89, protested outside the Anchorage care home on Tuesday with a placard, claiming he has been stopped from visiting his wife.
The manager of the home claimed that he was too loud and disruptive.
There are claims that another resident began to bang on his wife’s door while shouting at her. Mr Daniels then shouted for someone to help but it took a few minutes before help arrived.
Mr Daniels has reportedly been having problems with another resident’s behaviour for several months.
Claims the night manager asked him to leave.
Mr Daniels claims that on Monday night the night manager told him to leave as he was being noisy, disruptive and abusive.
He believes he was only trying to get help for his wife.
The couple have been married for 70 years and seen each other every day. He decided to protest because he can no longer see her.
The home specialises in enhanced dementia. It is currently the only home in North East Lincolnshire rated as outstanding by the Quality Care Commision.
The home has called in social services to help reach an amicable solution.
