By Beach bench gets a merry makeover
Buck Beck Beach Bench has been trimmed up for Christmas.
Cleethorpes Beach Safety team have shared this picture and said: “Buck Beck Beach Bench is now looking wonderfully festive, big thanks to our resident bench builder Chris!”
However they also warned: “If you do venture out for a look please follow the paths and do not attempt to cross the salt marsh. The marshes get wet and boggy and you could find yourself getting stuck in the mud!
“If you spot someone in difficulty please do not attempt to rescue. Call 999 immediately and ask for the coastguard.
“Stay safe and Merry Christmas from your resort safety team!”
Buck Beck Beach Bench originally started as a drift wood bench built by Nick Albion and Roger Crawford to have a sit and a smoke whilst walking their dogs.
