We would like a Teaching Assistantto join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. The position will involve workingwith a class, supporting children individually or in small groups.

This position is for 32.5 hoursper week (8.30am-3.30pm + 0.5 hours each lunchtime as a Play Assistant).

We are looking for someone withgood subject knowledge in reading, writing and maths (preferably with GCSEgrade C or above in English and Maths), who has good computing skills and isable to work well as part of a large team, supporting children to make progressin their learning.

We have two levels of TAs in ourschool – TAs that are class-based and TAs who are class-based but also coverclasses in the absence of the Class Teacher. Either of these positions are apossibility.

This is a great opportunity forsomeone who is looking to go into teaching in the future; we regularly employSchools Direct Teachers and this is a great starting point.
