Our client is looking for a Technical Analyst to carry out systems analysis; to project-manage development and undertake the design, programming and support of Business systems by managing corporate data resources contained in databases and application software. The main duties of this post are providing, developing and managing our clients databases and computer applications, with significant emphasis on project management, service delivery and co-ordinating the work of the Business Solutions team with the rest of Digital Services, other services areas and external suppliers.
Essential Skills:
. Provide technical expertise for new and existing information systems
. Research, analyse and recommend appropriate choices to all customers on the development of the databases/applications and software delivery platforms.
. SQL Server (T-SQL, SQL agent job creation/maintenance, SSIS package creation/maintenance, SQL Server admin skills (Back-ups/restores)
Previous experience in public sector would be an advantage. This role is initially working remotely.
